| Background
in Insurance Bill began his insurance career in 1975 and has since expanded his presence in the industry. After working for several different insurance companies and agencies, Bill was able to purchase his book of business and ventured off on his own. He was joined by his loyal staff and insurance carriers and opened Hertel & Associates, Inc. in 1994. He partnered with Wm. Rigg in Austin in 1996 and eventually combined the two agencies, creating Hertel Insurors Group in 2000. Bill has served several times on the advisory council for Texas Mutual Insurance Company and is the creator and lead agent for an exclusive Workers’ Compensation Safety Program . He is the President-Elect for the Insurors Group and will begin his term in the fall of 2006. Bill has enjoyed large-format photography since high school, and
